A. Murat Özgen is a senior investment executive with more than 30 years of experience in private equity, venture capital, investment management, and corporate finance. Throughout his career, he has led private equity investments, growth capital transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate transformation projects, successfully managing 17 investments and more than 12 exits while delivering strong investment returns. He has served as Chief Executive Officer and Board Member of İş Private Equity Investment Trust and Maxis Private Equity Portfolio Management Company, where he played a key role in establishing and managing investment funds. Most recently, he served as Head of Türkiye and Partner at X12 Capital, an Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM)-regulated investment management and advisory firm. He continues to serve on the boards and investment committees of various companies. Mr. Özgen holds an MBA in Finance from Mercer University and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Faculty of Business Administration at Istanbul University. He is a frequent speaker and panelist at national and international conferences on private equity, venture capital, mergers and acquisitions, and entrepreneurship.
